Motivating Action: Closing the gender pay gap in Victorian Businesses
This research report was a collaboration between Impact Economics and Policy, One Red Step, University of Tasmania and University of Canberra and was prepared for Industrial Relations Victoria.
In the report we take a deep-dive consultation with businesses in Victoria to find out their views and challenges. We combined this with evidence-based research and behavioural insights to better understand businesses' motivations for taking action (or not) on gender equality.
We develop profiles of businesses to help guide policy makers, and come up with some new ideas on how Government can support businesses in closing the gender pay gap.
