Training new teachers with digital simulations

Download Report

Trainee teachers need more opportunities to practice before they start working in the classroom.

Our recent work, funded by the Susan McKinnon Foundation, finds that digital simulations can provide useful opportunities for novice teachers to practice new skills many times over.

The report provides a synthesis of the global evidence on immersive simulation training and highlights a range of digital products from virtual classrooms through to interactive text-based platforms in the US and UK.
